CALL TO ARTISTS |

OPEN CALL TO ARTISTS—Galleries Yuma Fine Arts Association invites artists to submit proposals for exhibiting in one of the four galleries at the Yuma Art Center. We exhibit year round. Our shows generally are up for six to eight weeks with an opening reception on the first Friday of the contract period. We attempt to have joint openings in the four galleries so that the costs of the reception and invitations are shared amongst the exhibitors. Yuma Fine Arts operates much the same as a commercial gallery and takes a 35% commission on sales.
As a nonprofit arts organization, this revenue helps to fund our educational and other programs. Our artists agree to partner with us in covering these costs so that we can continue to grow as a center for the arts in Arizona.
A pro forma contract is attached for you to print out and review prior to submitting your request for an exhibit. We look forward to presenting more and more extraordinary work in the months and years to come. Be a part of the arts! Submit your resume, artist’s statement and six digital images. |
